  • Went here for the first time on a weekday morning at about 10:30. When we arrived it was packed, most people were finishing up. We were seated at a very wobbly table, which we fixed ourselves as the woman who offered to fix it never returned. It took a while to get our drinks and food orders, but the food took an average wait. I ordered a skillet which I didn't enjoy at all. The peppers tasted off (almost vinegar-y) and the sausage was okay, hashbrowns weren't very good, and they used way too much hollandaise sauce. My boyfriend said his was okay. Part that frustrated me was there was no quality check, so I couldn't even ask for more water. Even after we were done it took another 10 minutes of sitting idle, and eventually went up to the station to pay, since nobody ever brought us our bill. I also noticed some other people who were a bit frustrated. Such a shame as I used to love breakfast trips to Smitty's as a kid. It is also evident that their decor needs an upgrade, and waitresses need to be trained. I'm really not trying to be a negative nancy, maybe I just have bad luck
