| - I have had an extremely frustrating experience this past week when trying to reorder contacts and glasses from the Pineville, NC location of America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses. These issues have since bled over into this week, as well. Last week, I called the store to reorder contacts, thinking it would be a simple process. The sales associate told me to go order online. I logged into my online account and none of my previous orders were showing up, neither was my prescription. So, I called the store back and the sales associate said she pushed my prescription to my online account, that it should work now. Nope, still wasn't there. I then contacted their online customer service. They couldn't seem to find my prescription either. After several hours of phone/email tag, my prescription was finally loaded and I attempted to order online. No go. I was provided with an order number but the order was completely blank. Several more hours of phone/email tag later, they were able to process my contact lens order. Phew! I thought it would be smooth sailing from there. But nope again. With my prescription now loaded in the system, I picked out two frames to order (they were running a great glasses promotion) and placed my order. Again, I was provided an order number but the order was blank. I had to call customer service yet again to confirm the order but the sales associate taking my order entered the incorrect prescription! This resulted in yet another phone call being made today. I sure do hope after all of this frustration and hassle I receive my contacts and glasses in a very timely matter. I move in two weeks and that will be a whole other disaster to deal with... Ugh. I've always appreciated how friendly the service is from America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses but after so many problems lately, I might have to consider a new eye care facility when ordering materials.
