  • I Lived here for approximately 18 Months. I had a cherry hill unit. The apartment had no realistic storage, and the smallest kitchen I've ever had in a "luxury apartment". This apartment complex is far from luxury it has out dated fixtures, cabinets, and appliances from 1970 something. The kitchen had a gross built in cutting board that looked like it was included from when the original cabinets were put in over 25 years ago. The drawers in the kitchen are too small to even fit in a silverware set. During the summer there is a huge ant infestation that covers the outside of the apartments, and it's almost impossible to keep them out of you apartment. I don't know how many maintenance request I put in for exterminators to never have them resolved. My neighbor came up to me one day and asked me if I had ants in my closet, and yes... I did. In my closet no wear near my kitchen or a window. How did they get in there? Who the hell knows. A trip to Lowe's and I had to spray my own apartment with insecticide. After about 3 treatments I was finally rid of the vermin. Within my first 12 months of living here my water heater broke and fludded my apartment. They replaced the water heater within 48 hours, however it took them almost 2 weeks to come clean my carpets. Even though I constantly called and complained to resident services. When I decided to move out I gave the proper 60 days notice when my lease was up. I signed some paperwork and then went on my way. When my last months rent was due they tried to charge me a full month instead of the prorated rent that I was supposed to be charge because my move out date was in the middle of the month. I went down to resident services and they apologized letting me know that their "HQ" in CA didn't process the 60 days notice wrote down the prorated rent amount to pay. They advised that this is all I owed for the remainder of my lease. So I paid the amount online. About a week later I received a notice on my door saying that I was late on rent and that if I didn't pay they were going to evict me. I then proceeded back down to resident services for the third time and made a scene because their resident service employees are too incompetent to process a 60 day notice request. I then was instructed to call "HQ" in CA. After going back in forth with them for over an hour they finally corrected my rent. So I moved out thinking that I was done with this place. Only a month later to receive a bill in the mail at my forwarding address for the "additional rent" that I was never supposed to be charged and a bill for the carpet that was clearly ruined by the water heater that practically exploded in my apartment. They completely absorbed my deposit and then had the audacity to bill me for their mistakes. Me trying to do the right thing try to email their "HQ" in CA to work out some kinda payment plan since I was done trying to argue with theses ignorant incompetent people and I didn't want to ruin my renters credit. I had perfect payment history and it would be a shame for it to be ruined by something so stupid. This being a long story in its self ended with them not working with me and sending me to collections. The moral of the story is that these apartments are awful, their employees are incompetent, and you will receive the worst customer service experience of your life. Steer clear of Green Valley Country Club Appartments. Do not rent from these slumlords.
