  • I have used this service for a year now and am not impressed. One visit I was told I could not get my cholesterol prescription for no more than 3 months. When I asked the front desk why they stated it is policy because the doctor needs to see me every 3 months. I have always gotten the prescription on every visit to include my last visit for 6 months. The last visit I called in to make an appointment and they ask why I needed the appointment. I told them and they gave me my appointment. When I arrived at the office, the front desk informed me they couldn't do everything I had scheduled because my insurance would not pay for so many things being done at one time (prescription renewal, lab work, and removing a small sunspot on my arm). The doctor told me to schedule the appointment for the sunspot/mole removal on my last visit. The front desk also said they would have to have pre approval from my insurance to do this. I asked why they hadn't called and could they now call to get it. They told me no, my insurance wouldn't do that the day of the appointment. I asked them if this was true, that my insurance company told them I scheduled too many things for one appointment and second, they needed approval prior to my visit and the girl said yes. When I arrived home I called my insurance company and they informed me no one called them about anything and they prefer I schedule as many things as possible at one time to save office visits costs. I called the office back and the girl would not come to the phone. Looking for a new office. If I can't get truthful information from my doctors office, I need a new office. What a very unprofessional front desk. Thank goodness I have dual and great insurance and also that I am healthy, except cholesterol, and have time for finding a new doctor. I did file a complaint with my insurance also.
