| - This is the biggest grocery store I've ever seen.Easily the size of 2 Meijers. It's lovely, filled with natural light from skylights in the towering roofline. The produce section alone is almost the size of half a Target. Fresh sugarcane, anyone? They have a hydroponic station where you can pick your own lettuce, basil, etc. Their desserts are incredible looking-Chocolate Guiness brownie w/ Pretzels & Caramel? Are you kidding me? They feature Mediterra bread in the bakery & my mom & I had to bring some back to Indy with me, especially the kalamata olive baguette & the peppercorn parmesan boule. Lots of food stations in here-they have a hot bar, salad bar, custom sandwiches, pizza, sushi, creperie, fresh naan, tandoori dishes, stir fry, & I don't know if I've missed anything. I didn't have time to peruse everything. The only things I saw that they were missing was a bigger selection of vegetarian/vegan foods, both in the ready-made stuff & the frozen section & an espresso bar.(They may have had one but I didn't notice it.) A great asset to the lucky residents of Pittsburgh.
