Simple review for a customer service incident.
I bought an xbox Call of Duty Ghost on 11/05 (the day it was released). Best Buy had a promotion in that if you brought it back for the xbox One version, you could buy that for just $10.
Walked up to customer service to Francisco and he had no idea what he's doing. He knew about it but didn't know how to get it done so he called over a manager. Karen came along and she didn't know how to do it.. They tried to do a trade in but I could only get the game for $40, meaning I would still have to pay $24 instead of $10. Karen then says I needed to buy the game on 10/26 in order for this promotion to work.
Uh.. the game didn't come out until 11/05. How many times do I have to show you release dates. I bought my xbox one the day before and watched as others brought their games to buy the xbox one version for $10. I believe the person who was helping them was Marcus. I tried looking for him but it was no use. I wish she would get off her high horse and call someone else to help.
I didn't want to hassle any longer or keep the line backed up so I let Best Buy steal $14 from me. I paid $24 for it since they already lost my receipt and coupon that I brought in.
Other than that, I'll continue to come in. I signed up for the Best Buy Gamers Club but they failed to let me know that I needed to sign up for it online and that it doesn't get activated for at least a couple weeks. Lame, it's sad when GameStop has a better rewards program.
