| - I visited this salon on Monday, because it was located near my doctor's office. I had SNS nails with tips that I needed to be removed. It costs $10.00, which is normal, but my experience was HORRIBLE. The young lady that greeted me was very kind, but that's the only good thing.
The nail technician that worked on my nails was Tammy (I absolutely would NOT recommend her to anyone). She began my drilling off some of the polish. Afterwards, she began clipping off my tips. My tips were very short, and she clipped them straight across, which really hurt. I told her that it hurt and she completely ignored me. She began clipping them from the side, but had already cracked two of my real nails. She knew that she had broken my nails, because she started drilling them again, and drilled the top of my nails down (where you would normally clip them with a fingernail clipper). She was clearly annoyed, because I jerked my hand away because it was painful on more than one occasion.
Now. The WORST part....my nails are paper thin. So thin to the point that they have all peeled off, and I have nubs...and I never have nubs. She drilled my nails down way too much. They are extremely painful, especially if I run them under water, or apply any pressure. From what I have read/watched online, you aren't supposed to drill most of the polish off, you are only supposed to drill off a thin layer, then soak the rest off. She was clearly rushing...although the place only had one other person there when I arrived. As a result, she drilled through my nails, and only soaked them in acetone for a little. Now I'm completely growing my nails back. Avoid this place, or at least...avoid Tammy. Besides my nails, she was extremely unpleasant and ignored everything I said, and didn't respond or speak once. I wish that I would have left the first time she didn't say anything.
