I've been using them for years because they service my area more densely than other Toronto taxi companies. Some drivers are friendly and super courteous; others are icy cold or even hostile, and give a vibe like they'd love nothing more than to make you disappear, and then no "thank you" for the tip, no goodbye. It's a rotten way to start your day. Most annoyingly, they no longer pull into your driveway--they just wait for you on the street, rain or shine, blistering cold or heat wave. (In fact right now I'm wet because I had to make the long sprint to the curb to get into the cab.) Seriously? I can't help wondering, do they do that with people in mansions too, or just us lowly average home dwellers? Generally they do arrive in the estimated time--5 to 10 minutes in my neighbourhood.
