  • Menchie's is like fro-yo wonderland. They are a serve yourself type of joint, which I certainly prefer and they have more toppings than any frozen dessert operation I have ever seen. Their flavors tend more towards ice cream than other yogurt places I've tried but that is not a bad thing. There are also more "unhealthy" toppings...you know, brownie pieces as opposed to mandarine oranges...but who cares they are freakin' delicious. If healthy is your bag, though, you will be glad to know that they rock sorbet, and don't worry there are fruits. I feel like it needs to be said that Menchies takes brand proliferation to the extreme: menchie's spoons, menchie's hair clips, menchie's cell phone charms, menchie's shirts, stickers, pins, oh my! It's actually kinda fun, but if you value a clean aesthetic you might want to go elsewhere. But if that is the case, you will miss out on some righteously good fro-yo and have no one to blame but your party pooper self. Oh and p.s. 42¢ an ounce as opposed to yoforia's 49¢!
