I have visited Fuego Cantina three times now. The first time (3 months ago ) service was bad and my waitress barely noticed me. I am glad I tried again! My last two visits I was greeted by a friendly chatty staff that seemed to really care whether or not I was happy.
I had the sangria salad with chicken, which was very good and reasonably priced. I also tried the jerk chicken wings, which had good flavor but I would have preferred them cooked a bit longer so the skin was crispy rather than tender. My waitresses kept my drinks refilled and checked on me to make sure I was happy.
The food selection is limited, but so far what I have tried has been good and portions are generous. I hate the ugly booths which are leftover decor from Chuys and the fact that a huge row of tv's are on a side wall that no table is facing- so you have to turn sideways to watch them. Weird. But the clientele who visit are casual and friendly people you wouldn't mind sitting next to. It isn't a place where obnoxious drunks hang out.
All in all, a good addition to my neighborhood. I recommend you try it!
