I first learned of Shuck's a couple of years ago after a friend told me about their fantastically inexpensive breakfast specials. Until now I had only visited the Flamingo/215 location and only for breakfast. When looking for place for the midday meal, the Mrs. and I opted for Shuck's. The only disappointment here is that I hadn't previously tried their lunch menu. They have a burger called the Mother Shucker that features a full pound of beef. I opted for the smaller version or the "Baby Mother." It came with fries (you can get garlic fries) and I added a side salad. The side salad was one the larger ones I've seen and featured red leaf lettuce, tomato and onion. Even the Baby Mother was huge and some kind of tasty. The waitress, Ashley, was very friendly and attentive, offering her advice on which fried fish the Mrs. should get. Good call on the Haddock Ashley. It was fresh and crisp, complete with garlic fries. I left stuffed like a Thanksgiving Turkey, with a smile on my face. Next time I'll attempt the Mother Shucker.
