After my wife has gone to Slippery Mermaid several times with friends, I experienced it for myself. A hefty menu of sushi, it's a little hard to decide what to get. I went with the Spicy Mermaid, Dragon and Poseidon Rolls. All very good. All very large. Each roll was 8 pieces each. Great sauces on top of each different roll.
The dining room is nice but there are not nearly enough tables for the crowds that wanted to eat there on a Friday night. There are a few areas that have a lot of open space where they can add a few more tables in my opinion.
The bar area has extra seating and has a tiki feel. There's a specialty drink menu that has some interesting concoctions.
Overall a great dinner. I'll go back, but will be careful to get there early so not to spend most of my night waiting for a table.
