| - My boyfriend and I went there to try their 21$ menu for "MTL à Table"; we were a bit nostalgic of our trip in Italy, and Caldo did not disappoint!
The restaurant has a very warm, welcoming feel, with large tables for groups and bar seating too. We came in on a Saturday evening and it was packed. Noise level was tolerable though (then again, we were seated in a corner, away from the large groups).
We tried both the arancini and the squash soup appetizers, and both were delicious. The seafood pizza was surprisingly large and well-garnished, a proper wood-oven pie (there was just a bit too much crust to my liking). As for dessert, the tiramisu somewhat lacked in coffee flavour, but the panna cotta was great: I wished the portion was bigger, it was so good!
Special thanks to our patient waitress, the service was impeccable!
