  • Parlour is a great salon with awesome music playing (did you know Beck's "Everybody's gotta learn sometime" is a version from a 30-year-old song by The Korgis? They played the original!) and great, great hair stylists. I was feeling adventurous and chose a random stylist to cut my hair, and told THE CHOSEN ONE to just have fun with my hair. I loved the retro-but-modern look, and I absolutely fell in love with Matthew, the way he touches your hair has some kind of magic, I don't know. It's just... magic. All the hair products smell great and customer service is awesome too (online booking? Gotta love that!). The downside is the price, a bit over the top for just a haircut - c'mon, my hair is so short... But I have a haircut only once in a while, so I'm probably coming back.
