| - First, let's have a short moment of silence for the STD ridden, dirty-covered, sh*t hole that was the imperial palace....
NOW let's thank the Vegas' god's for the rebirth of the hotel in the LINQ, a vastly improved, modern take on what Vegas is starting to become. This hotel is geared more towards the younger adult crowd, with a 21+ pool that has no cover (fun to kick it, with music blasting, and alcohol flowing) and a small casino, and in proximity to all that shopping, drinking, and food outisde the corridors.
Let's also not forget the Oshea's attached, the Hash House A Go Go (go get that chicken and waffle!) The Purple Zebra (a bit on the expensive side for frozen daiquiris) and a Guy Fieri's restaurant. There isn't a shortage of things to do here, and the location, being dead center strip, directly across Ceasar's, and between the Flamingo and Harrah's, this place is of prime location and use.
Rooms are clean, and super updated. Service was great.
Elevators are on the slow side, but it's not the elevator, its the sheer amount of people compared to the amount of elevators. Remember that bigger hotels, have 3x the amount of elevators.
Only downside to me, was that the resort fee of $34 is a bit steep. But i guess you gotta pay for your remodels anyway... and the wifi (trust me, you need it, there's NO 4G, or even 3G reception for that matter) is shoddy at best. I had to keep refreshing in and out of my wifi to get connection. When it worked, it worked well, but the wi-fi, needs alotta fixing.
Great place, great value, I would recommend this place, for a couples weekend, or a party posse type of trip.
