I'm giving a 1 star because I can't give half a star. I have tried shopping at ride now multiple times now.
My first experience last year, I was treated very poorly. The gentleman could barely be bothered to spend a few minutes with me looking at possible motorcycles for me to buy. When I did make a decision on what I did want the sales rep disappeared. When I finally tracked the sales rep down I couldn't get any information on pricing he didn't want to even see if I could be approved for the bike and was only concerned about how much cash I could put down on the purchase. Two days went by and the sales rep still wouldn't go over any kind of pricing options with me. I ended up going to Carter Powersports and bought a motorcycle same day.
A year later I'm looking at a new motorcycle and I figure I give Ride Now another chance. This time I get Shane, again poor customer service and an attitude like he doesn't want to be there. Never the less I give him an chance look at some bike and pick one out. Shane takes my info to see if I can get approved. Some time goes by and Shane informs me that I have been approved but it's not the best offer so he wouldn't even review it with me. He then tells me to leave and that he would call me in the morning and let me know what's going on around 11am. I never received any calls. I called Shane at 4pm the next day for an update and he states there has been no changes and that he would call me when he has more information. I waited another day and never herd anything back. I then show up at ride now the day after that to see if I can find out more information. When I showed up on site I get this look from Shane like what am I doing there. I asked for an update and Shane reported that there was no change to my status and that he would check on things. While Shane was "checking on things" I asked to speak to a supervisor. A Gentleman named Chad brings Shane with him and introduces him self as the sales manager and asks what's going on? I then shared my concerns of lack of interest in the sale and professionalism of not following through with promises made. Chad down plays the issue as if this is no concern and that nothing was down wrong basically. Chad then gives me a speech about how he's the sales manager he lol take great care of me personally and get me set up on a bike. I selected a bike that I wanted to purchase and spent the remainder of the day waiting to hear about approval with no word. Chad sends me home Promising he will call me the next morning with the update. I did get a call from chad that basically stated that he just had to make a few calls to some banks to get some answers and that he would call me back later that afternoon. It has now been over a week since he was gonna call me later in the afternoon and I still have not heard from him.
Yesterday I went to Major Powersports and purchased a better motorcycle at a little higher of a price, then I was looking at, at Ride Now. The funny thing is Major Power Sports had me approved in 20 minuets and was able to tell that he could see that ride now had ran my credit with every bank imaginable, yet still could not call me back or manage to get an approval yet some how Major Powersports gets an approval in 20 minutes.
Long story short I have now purchased 2 motorcycles from companies other then ride now in 1 year.
(Also paid the first one off in under a year and will with this one as well)
I was a Customer Experience Manager for 3 years and never have been treated this poorly before. I may be person but Ride Now Powersports will never get my
Business!
