  • This review is for the hotel bar only. The main bar not the sky bar. We came in 2 days ago with the intention to check out sky bar but since it was closed for a private party, we went to the hotel bar downstairs. The bar itself had a nice ambiance. Nice lighting, contemporary decor and a typical American bar menu. We sat at a table and since no one came to take our order, one of us went up to the bartender, Brian and ordered with him. My friend brought our drinks over. Once our food was ready, the bartender started yelling at my friend to walk up to the bar to pick up our food. It was very demeaning. This is supposed to be a polished establishment trying to make a name for themselves with their hotel remodel, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they don't leave from behind the bar, I thought. I then noticed that same bartender delivering food to the tables around us throughout the evening. Why were we not given that same level of service? He even went out around the bar to deliver food to a couple sitting at the bar. They were seated directly in front of us. I was appalled that we were not treated with the same respect as the other patrons. We enquired about parking since we parked in the parking garage and they offer NO validation. Be ready to pay $3/hr.
