Update***9/18/12***In response to Tracey's reply: First and foremost, I have been hearing the terms "we take responsibility when we do make a mistake" but that seems a bit condescending coming from the on site managers words at the time. I recall the manager, Bill, telling me it was simply "a piece of plastic" and he had no idea to tell which "guy" worked on it. That does not seem like the practical way to handle or resolve such an issue. As, to the age of my vehicle, that is irrelevant. The fact of the matter, is A) I was never approached that it was broken off in service (as this could be deemed acceptable) OR B) THE HANDLE WAS MISSING COMPLETELY! THE SAME HANDLE LOCATED UNDER MY STEERING WHEEL! I honestly do not know how far it could have broken off and traveled had you NOT been responsible. Finally, the deal for free installation would be entertaining if in fact, I had broken it off myself, but MAC was the last person to service it.
