At Thali, the union of good quality, good quantity and good value come together to create the perfect conditions for a solid four star rating. They've got a good selection of Indian street food options. Pani puri (tiny pockets of crispy fried bread filled with spiced potatoes and chickpeas with coriander which you submerge in then fill with a coriander and tamarind liquid) is a favourite of mine. They've got bhel puri as well as papri chat. These are all very good. You'll find a buffet style concept wherein you'll be able to select a few options along with rice or bread and perhaps a simple green salad with yoghourt. The choices tend to be the flavourful North Indian classics ... such as ... matar paneer (homemade cubes of fresh whey cheese with green peas in a spiced tomato sauce) and chana masala (chickpeas simmered to perfection in aromatic spices) and saag paneer (more homemade cheese in a subtly flavoured creamed spinach) and an eggplant dish and a potato dish and all sorts of good things!! They've also got masala dosas if you're in a South Indian mood. The naan is excellent and so is the mango lassi.
