I usually make a trip to this certain Marche Akhavan every Sunday. I love the variety of fruits and veg especially fresh herbs (mint, parsley etc). The produce is very fresh and clean so its a pleasure shopping there.
My husband is a huge fan of their own lebanese naan bread which we buy in bulk as we eat it with nearly everything. They are reasonably priced and you can find all your exotic spices, oils and nuts in store.
Once in a while, if we are feeling a bit peckish, we will have lunch there too. The seating is basic (it is in a supermarket) and your view is of the busy road and passer-bys but the food is to die for! Delicious saffron rice with charcoal grilled kababs - heaven on a plate! The portion is huge and for a minimum of 7$, you can't go wrong! Definitely give it a try... The kababs here beat many fine restaurants I have been to and it is definitely much more authentic (everyone speaks farsi/persian here lol)
Also - if you are a fan of arabic/persian mint or black tea, they also sell the authentic teapots and cups (similar to what Ahmad A. posted)
