I lent a buddy some money and took his Rolex as collateral. When he didn't come up with the money to pay me back, I decided to sell the watch. I did check with pawn shop, and they would only lend money on it, not buy it. I went to E.D. Marshall and tried them, having sold them one before. They were $500 less on the cash payment than Estate Watch. I went back to Estate Watch and Jewelry, and the gal said she expected as much. She said, We usually pay a little more then E.D. I asked if she could help me out a little on her bid. She was very nice, made a phone call, and offered me $200- more. Instead, I took the original number and we negotiated in a pair of diamond studs that I can give to my daughter! They were very friendly and helpful. I will visit again.
