3.5 stars. Quaint little asian market in a hard to get to location. The busy intersection of Sunset and Marks is usually a traffic nightmare, as it was on a Tuesday afternoon when I went in.
They didn't carry much in the way of thai noodles, which was one of the reasons I came in, and to get rice. The only package of Thai chilis was a bit old.A little weak in the vegetable selection. Those are the negatives.
The positives are the nice people who run the store, and they do have a vast selection of filipino items. Decent selection of meats in the low freezers. Filipino ice cream too! 6 rows of shelves stocked with various sauces and canned items.
Not a bad little market, a little bigger size wise than the place off Russell and Boulder Hwy but smaller than Laos Market on Desert Inn. Still the east side is lacking in asian markets, the closest big ones being Seafood City and Ranch 99 on Maryland Parkway.
