  • After today I am going to be taking my business else where. I have spent thousands of dollars on my dog in the past year and I keep getting ripped off. Every time I go here I spend $200! Today I brought my dog in because he has a wound on his arm from a surgery he had done at this clinic. The wound never fully healed and I brought him in to have it checked out. His arm was bandaged when I brought him and they obviously needed to remove the bandage to have it looked at. They brought him back in without a bandage and I asked why? They told me that if they needed to bandage it back they would charge me. The problem is that my dog is licking at his wound constantly and without a bandage he will not stop. I told the vet to bandage it please and she did, however she never told me a price for bandaging. I left after they had to do yet another blood test for an issue that is still undiagnosed and after 10 tests on my dog (huge long story). I went to check out and was told the price was about $200 which I found a little high but assumed (I know I'm an idiot for assuming anything) everything was in order. I looked at the invoice after paying as they don't offer an invoice until after you pay unless you request it, and saw that they charged me THIRTY $30!!! dollars to bandage my dogs arm. I noticed this charge after I got in my car and called back furious! I spoke to the doctor and she said that the charge is standard at all of Dr. Nave's (crook who owns them) clinics and they is no way to reverse the charge. I told her that if she explained that it was $30 dollars for a small bandage I would not have authorized that and she said she was sorry for not telling me the price before but that there is nothing they can do. Mind you, my dog has exclusively seen this doctor for over a year and I will not go there unless he sees her specifically but after this I am so done with this place. Never ever again will that get a dollar from me again. Please make sure you read every invoice before paying and expect to pay out the nose for simple routine check ups. What a rip off of an animal hospital! Stay away!!!
