  • NOBODY CAN BEAT BOBBY FLAY!!! All the positive reviews about Mesa Grill are true! This is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at if not the best! From the moment we walked into the restaurant the reception desk was genuinely nice and made us feel VERY welcomed. Genoa was our server and she was top notch knowing the cocktail and food menu inside out and she and the rest of the staff did a perfect job. I was concerned about the food being too spicy for my husband because he is not a fan of "southwestern" food (but I guess we really never had true southwestern food before) Nothing was to spicy everything was delicious, perfect...done right! I had the New York strip steak and brussel sprouts. The steak was one of the best I've ever had, cooked perfectly, so flavorful with Flay's homemade steak sauce. Brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked and delicious. I think they were cooked with bacon and vinaigrette but again nothing overpowering...it just enhanced the sprouts! We split a baked potato that had creme fraiche and horseradish IT WAS DELICIOUS! (I don't even know what creme fraiche is but I want more!!). My husband had the salmon and spinach and he LOVED IT (very rare for him to rave about his food!) We also had a margarita from the very extensive margarita menu and they were excellent too. Bread was fresh and delicious. Some bread had jalapeños but again it wasn't overly done and my husband gobbled it up (what? who is this guy, he doesn't eat jalapeños lol!) The table next to us ordered the double pork chop...OMG it looked unbelievable and the man eating it was a very happy diner! His wife had the 16 spice chicken and she loved hers too! Though our meal was quite expensive we left there very very happy and certainly didn't mind spending the buck$ on a genuine gourmet meal with an outstanding staff. Thanks Bobby Flay! you really are at the top of your game, better than any other! We look forward to returning.
