| - I've heard so much about this restaurant and it did not disappoint! A friend and I came for Winterlicious and were greeted by friendly staff, one who spoke in sign language, and another that explained aloud what he was saying. The menu had ASL pictures for each menu item (e.g. Flatbread with bacon, mushroom and goat cheese would have "flat" and "bread" as the sign language), and it was such a great experience to try to learn to communicate using sign language! Our waiter, Julian was super encouraging and was always smiling and giving us a thumbs up after every attempt we made.
For a Sunday lunch, it was quite quiet and I really loved the overall ambiance of the place. The food was nothing too special, but it was satisfying. I ordered the flatbread (which was filling and flavourful), pork ravioli in alfredo (which was on the small side portion wise, but still good), and a chocolate cake (can never go wrong with that!). For $18 (+tax&gratuities), I would say it was pretty worth it.
Overall, I would definitely recommend coming to Signs (especially for Winterlicious) for the pleasant and unique experience!
