  • One year ago today, Pro Misting, Luxe Outdoor Environments, WHATEVER one of several names they call themselves, installed a misting system. They were efficient and I was appreciative, but they installed the pump under the bedroom window [[and it makes a TON OF NOISE] and they promised to relocate it for me as part of the original install -- I agreed to do it at the first year service appointment so save them some effort. Also one or two misting heads didn't work. They sent me off to buy new nozzles, which I did. They still didn't work. I tried that multiple times. Then this year, 2017, I had an appointment, scheduled well in advance, to have the annual service and to have the pump moved. The guy came out -- no crew -- and even though I had taken all day off to wait for them as they wouldn't give me a "window," he came after 5pm and said he didn't have time to do the work or the supplies! He also said that the reason the nozzles on a couple of them weren't working wasn't the nozzle, but something in the pipes. Of course, that would be warranty work, but they NEVER DID FIX IT or even make an ATTEMPT to FIX it under the warranty, which expires today. Then his office managers/owners announced that moving the pump would now be my responsibility and I would be paying for it! TURNS OUT ... THEY DON'T LIVE UP TO THE WORD, THEY DON'T HONOR THEIR WARRANTY, AND THEY ARE REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I found the owner to be kind of nasty.
