If I could give zero stars I would, worst internet provider I have ever had. This is my 4th month dealing with Century Link. I was lured in by what was supposed to be approximately a $35 package charge for basic internet only, we don't have cable or anything else. However my monthly bills have been between $100 and $200 each month, the explanations are always vry confusing and each time the agent assures me it will only be $35 the following month. Just got another for $130. I quit, done with them.
Lack of agent training:
The agents are never able to explain why, in fact one even admitted to me she was not sure and had to ask a manager, neither were able to tell me. One time I tried to lower my connection speed to drop the price and they agent did not check the system type they had rented me and had my internet completely turned off. I was told they could not make it out until mid next week for something that was completely the agent's lack of training.
Lack of IT service training:
I was on the phone with an agent who barely understood English and kept me on the phone for 30 minutes just saying, "Ok, let me check....hmmmm..ok let me check......I am checking, let me check". We accomplished nothing.
I hate that internet provider services are so poor. I have not heard great things about Cox either but anything has to be better than Century Link.
