  • Awesome atmosphere here, it feels like a place that ought to be around the corner from a university campus. Especially with the interesting beverage menu: I tried a vodka calpis on my first visit and went to the Asian supermarket on my way home to pick up a large bottle of calpis... "Japas" idea is great, reasonably priced appetizers/snacks to go with a meal. I really liked the lotus root chips. Can't really go wrong with any of the mains; I've tried a few and have never gone wrong. One thing I wasn't thrilled with was the skewer we tried: we had the wasabi beef, the beef was overcooked and wasn't a great cut.
