| - first time at the grand chateau! still right by the strip within walking distance, but i had not known about this one, maybe because it's a time share hotel. we don't own one, but we were lucky to book a suite here.
the rooms are nice. the view we got was the parking lot, but who has time to stare out the window in vegas anyway. once it's night time, all you see are the lights & it's very pretty regardless of the stuff you see during the day.
the pool on the roof is kinda small, and the sky bar is pretty much a small bar and several tall seats and tables right by the pool. it was very simple and boring compared to the romantic poster about the bar that was hung in the elevator. the view is nice though, that's for sure. too bad it closes at 7pm everyday!
there is a market place where you can get almost anything next to the lobby. i got some bagels, cream cheese, and ice cream there, and was able to add it to the tab.
there are no restaurants or casinos, but if you can walk to any other hotel/miracle mile, it's really not a big deal.
valet parking was complimentary, so we got to be able to go in & out with our car anytime.
overall, nice!
