| - My first time in a Vegas club was July 5th, 2014. Since then... Hi, my name is Jocelyn, and I'm a Vegas clubbing addict. I have probably spent more time in Vegas clubs this past year as a resident of the Midwest than anyone driving over from LA.
In fact, if the number of math questions right out of 100% were equal to the percentage of hours I spend in a club on a Vegas trip, I would be the best Asian daughter ever. That being said, for the amount of time I spend at night clubs every trip, I had never been to Surrender until this weekend. While I had a good time, honestly... I probably wouldn't go back. There are just way too many other clubs that are better.
But enough of my bullshit.
The rundown:
Surrender is a tiny indoor space that opens up to EBC outside.
Doors open at 10:30.
Guest list line grows fast, so try to be there by 10:30.
Cons:
- Dance floor is as tiny as everyone says. You could have a fifth grade class party on this dance floor and still run out of space.
- Indoor bathroom has THREE stalls, and outdoor bathroom is roped off until it gets fuller later in the evening.
- Effects aren't as full-up as XS. It's super dark in the club.
Pros:
- Crowd is a little older and requires a little less crowd control.
- You can gamble out here, and EBC at night is GORGEOUS.
You can't really see how pretty the club is at night because it's so dark inside.
I ended up not even in the club since it was so small, and my friends and I just gambled the entire time and left. The dealers were SOOOOO awesome and saved the day... they made the entire night really, really fun.
TIP: Guys, a drink costs $20 (including tip) on average here... go gamble and drink until the headliner comes on! Like anywhere else, it's free booze while gambling!
