This is my second time attending foodie fest, both times being at Sunset Station. The pros of the festival - being able to try multiple food trucks/vendors at one spot, free parking, and some entertainment (not very good entertainment, but it's there). The cons of the festival - paying an entry fee on top of already paying for food/drinks, it's hot/sunny and there's not much shade, it's busy and the wait for food can take awhile.
I think my biggest gripe is having to pay $8-10 just to get in and then getting really nothing from it. You're almost better off going to First Fridays downtown which is FREE 99 and seeing most of the same food trucks.
I think foodie fest is fun if you can snag free tickets from somewhere, but otherwise it's really not worth it.
