| - We booked with Cashman Brothers because they came as part of our wedding package with The Emerald at Queensridge. We looked through several of their portfolios before meeting with them and felt good about the quality of work they produced. The pre-wedding meeting went well and Kristine was very nice, so when we got the email that our wedding pictures were ready naturally we were excited to see the results. I was so devastated by how awful the pictures were that I cried. It took me several days to muster up the courage to try to look at them again and I emailed Kristine to see if maybe no editing had been done yet and that was the reason they were so terrible. But she replied that those were the final product, editing entailed. We had to ask for additional editing on several photos because there were such obvious problems with them, for example in some shots of my husband and myself there was a glare from some light on my husbands head making his hair look completely white on the side ( his hair is black, so it was an obvious and notable problem). Also, we were married in August and it was warm, there were several pictures of me with my face very sweaty that could have been cleaned up quickly and easily (and some were, but only on the exact pictures I requested). Other problems included many many of our wedding pictures being off center, many of them with grooms eyes closed, just unflattering and poor quality as a whole. I reached out to another professional photographer to get a second opinion, just in case I was being overly critical (but really anyone who knows me knows I'm super laid back and the least bridezilla bride out there). The other professional we spoke to was genuinely surprised to see the poor quality of photos and expressed how usually wedding photographers would not turn in such unflattering photos. She assured us that unflattering pictures get taken of course, not every pic is gold, but there were quick edits to fix many of the problems she saw, and that she would not have even included several of the pictures we received because they were simply that bad. We asked for additional edits, and Cashman did comply with fixing the pictures, but only the ones we specifically asked for ( so my husband didn't look like count chocula). We finally unenthusiastically showed our families after repeated requests and both sides were so disappointed with how the pictures turned out. Overall, our WEDDING was really beautiful and the Emerald did such a good job putting everything together but unfortunately we don't have wedding photography to reflect that. It is so devastating because we paid professional prices for this product and received much less than professional results. There were a couple good pictures, but overall I was just shocked by how unprofessional the photos look and that we had to point out immediately obvious editing needs. I'm not sure if we just had a new photographer or what happened because we did our research before booking them for our wedding and they seemed great. The most important thing to me about our wedding was the photography, and I just feel really let down.
