As an Alberta resident, I haven't experienced better telephone service than what I've received from Telus because I'm afraid to explore the grass on the other side. Is it greener? Is there truly a good land line telephone service provider? I don't know.
Every time I try to change my home or business telephone service or deal with an issue, another issue is created. I will not share the details as it raises my blood pressure. I will say that I am always afraid to call for fear of being angry and frustrated, as that is what happens to me when someone doesn't follow through with their customer service promises.
I am thankful that my telephone has always worked (aside from uncontrollable forces of nature that interfere or accidental line disturbance due to unaware or careless neighbors), that I am billed on time and that my grandfathered plan maintains lower rates. For these reasons, I remain a customer.
