I'm surprised by the mediocre reviews for Reds. But based on my many visits here, I would definitely give it a 3.5.
The last time I was here, my server was great. We had a party of 8 and he and others constantly topped up our waters, checked on our drinks and had our food come out in a timely manner even though throughout the night we were snacking on apps. I had their $38 three course meal. The mushroom soup - delicious, but I thought the portion was a bit small. I had the steak for the main and I thought this was okay. It was done a bit rare but I asked for medium. Finally the dessert came. I ordered apple pie with the vanilla ice cream but I didn't like the pie. It tasted like a store bought piece of pie, and wasn't warm. I was a bit disappointed. The only good item was the ice cream.
I'd have to say I do like coming to Reds for drinks. They have a bunch of drink specials after 5 but they need to step up their food game.
