On- line service for ordering a TV delivery and installation is a nightmare. A big FAIL Visiting my mother who has severe macular degeneration. Got her a TV. Had to order on-line in the store because we needed delivery. Ok. No problem. We order installation as well.
Then the screen directs us to choose an installation time. Sure! No problem, we order that before my visit ends.
Installer arrives on the appointed time but what? No TV. Why no TV you ask?
Because no where on the order screen did it say the tv and the install were two separate orders. And a call placed to my mother a few days before from a computer generated service requested that we set up an appointment. For what? We did not understand. I tried to call back and could not contact a human being. Searched our paperwork and determined that call must have been a mistake.
No! It was some company trying to make arrangements to deliver the TV!
Anyway, long story less long after searching several stores it was determined the TV and installation would need to occur AFTER I left and my nearly blind mother would be on her own when she got her new HUGE TV (so she could see it.)
Horrible set up with the on-line ordering if installation is required. Redo your web site, Costco.
