First of all, let me tell you that the High Roller in Las Vegas is not an amusement park. Although, it does look like a giant Ferris wheel. As others mentioned, it is the world's largest and tallest observation wheel. There are 28 round glass enclosed cabins. Each cabin can accommodate up to 40 people. There are benches for sitting down, but we spent the 30 minute trip standing and drinking while enjoying the views of Las Vegas.
Had a ton of fun. Started as a 3 star review. The more I continue to write, I realized that I actually had a 4 star experience. Our experience was in a cabin that included a bar. Our bartender was awesome!! He kept everyone's glass full, if that is what they wanted. He was entertaining! He showed the perfect example of what good customer service should be like.
Even though we went during the afternoon, the views of Las Vegas were terrific! I imagine it must be nicer in the evening when the lights are on in all their glory. Of course, the price is higher in the evening.
Tip: Make sure to use the restroom before entering the cabin. There are no restrooms inside the cabin. I drank so much in 30 minutes that by the end, I was really needing to go! Also, be careful when exiting after you have drank so much. Would be embarrassing to trip as you exited the cabin. There are deals available if you search hard enough. Have fun and enjoy Las Vegas!!
