  • Went here to see what the great reviews are all about. Asked the server what their best drink is and she recommended the imperial matcha with tiramisu mousse, as it's their most popular drink with the highest quality of matcha. She gave me a sample of the mousse and it tasted like melted cheesy chocolatey cream to me. Couldn't imagine that being added to a matcha tea and ruining its delicate flavor, so I ended up ordering an iced imperial matcha with regular sweetness. That was a mistake. My drink tasted like sugar water. This place looked legit when they whipped up a bamboo whisk and all to make the matcha, but I could barely tasted it in my drink. Where's that subtle umami flavor and creamy texture? At $6.25 a cup, I was expecting to get a great matcha drink, but this place did not deliver whatsoever. The server was nice though. One star for her!
