I need to be up front.... I love Save-On-Foods. I love their products and their prices and everything in between. Today I had a pretty negative experience and so this review only deals with this trip and only the specific problem.
I needed a few things on my way home from work so went to this location. I had a great experience at the seafood counter and grabbed most of the other things I needed. My issue today was due to 3 executive types who were either with Save-On-Foods or perhaps product reps but they were standing blocking an aisle talking to an employee. They definitely saw me and I think they heard me say "excuse me" because one made direct eye contact. However, instead of moving over they continued their conversation which was mostly "Eff this and Eff that". Ok then.... I skipped that aisle.
After I paid I went to the customer service desk and asked the woman working there if it was safe to assume that they were executives she blew me off saying that they would have name tags if they were and likely they were reps from one of the suppliers. She was more "certain" than ever that they weren't with Save-On-Foods when I told her about the colourful language and then just went back to what she was doing.
I am not a complainer, in fact I hate to complain. I also sometimes have a pretty colourful vocabulary myself. However, this behaviour was unacceptable and no matter if it was someone directly representing the the company (an employee) or a representative of the brands they carry it was rude and really annoyed me.
