| - Please come to this T-Mobile store if you want the height of rude customer treatment. I came in merely to ask a couple of questions about my new T-Mobile phone and to purchase a few accessories. First thing I noticed was all four of the store's teenage employees were engaged in animated conversation around the registers. One finally looked up, glanced at me and then returned to the conversation, which must have been far more engrossing than helping me or even acknowledging my presence. Eventually, one female clerk did saunter over and ask what I wanted. I tried to explain the situation, but she just grabbed the phone from me and said all you do is this and this and this. She then hurried back to gossip central. Well, I did this and this and this, and the phone still wasn't doing what I wanted. She then snidely said that they still sold old fashion cell phones for people like me. Well, kid, I may be 60 years old, but I did get a Ph.D. in chemistry using a slide rule and a calculator, and this is not my first smart phone. It is so lovely when ageism is so blatant. Almost without saying, I did not buy the accessories.
