| - Moved with APIM for the first and last time in October 2017. The worst move I have been subjected to. So much damage, pretty much everything they touched has damage from minor but permanent to major, irreparable damage. They were also very slow, took many cigarette breaks. They don't use furniture dollies or furniture carts, they flipped every piece of furniture upside down on a regular dolly, damaging the top of every piece and all the drawers and shelves inside. Front load washer door popped in, two refrigerators, one scraped paint on the side, the other front doors dented and dinged beyond belief. Doorway trim chipped, door removed and then put back with black handprints all over the newly painted wall and door, no acknowledgment or attempt to clean. If I didn't witness the damage occur, it was not mentioned or brought to my attention. I thought the leader was responsible and professional at first, until I looked back on the time the move took, all the breaks, and slowly discovered all the damage that was hidden. They got lazier and left things undone. By the end, after an antique table was broken in two, I just wanted it over, didn't want to deal with anything and gave them a good review and signed the papers. Even tipped! Boy I wish I could take the review and tip back. I continue to find more damage days and weeks after the move. If you have anything you care about, don't let them move it. The procedure of sitting down and making you sign papers before you really have a chance to check out everything, and sitting right across from you and asking for a good review - that needs to change. Also I never heard from the office - I have moved many times and had contact from the offices before, during and after the move - these folks don't seem to give a shit. I was going to chalk it up to a lesson learned, but as the damage piles up, I thought it only fair to warn others. you are warned.
