It pains me that LEX is pretty much my only option from Bloomington to Champaign and back. I hate the fact that I am forced to give my money to this atrocious excuse for a company. Nothing about LEX is professional or accommodating.
One time I waited for over 3 hours in Champaign without the decency of a phone call telling me they would be late. I was finally picked up and what is traditionally a 1-1.5 hour trip took over 2.5 hours due to stupidity and incompetency.
This one happened on Sunday, September 23rd, 2012: I called the company to inquire about an 11:15 PM bus from Champaign to Bloomington that had the word "unavailable" next to it. I simply wanted to know why it was listed on the website if I wasn't able to take it back to school. The man who answer was nothing short of an asshole to me. This is as close to verbatim as possible... "Ya see, it says unavailable... which means it is not available. If it was available, we wouldn't have put the word unavailable next to it." After this godforsaken man attempted to teach me the meaning of a basic English word, I had had enough of his bullshit and proceeded to hang up after a few choice words. I was forced to take a 2:15 AM bus back to school that night.
On their website under "LEX Receives Praise" you will find this fabricated phrase: "Compared to other shuttle companies, LEX is known for accommodating their customers needs." HA!
I can't say enough about how horrendously heinous the service has been and will assuredly continue to be at Lincolnland Express... Not to mention, their symbol is a fucking airplane. What a joke.
