| - Let me preface this by saying that the salon addressed my concerns by not charging for my mani and offering half off on my next visit, which was great customer service on their part. What I really liked about this place was the decor and the tea that they offer. The technicians are very attentive and they check in often to ensure that everything is going well. However, I think it'd be important to ask for a senior technician here if it's your first time, as I surprisingly received my worst mani here. The polish application was not smooth, visibly patchy, and there were pieces of cotton and dried polish. I had to re-direct the technician that was working on me twice in terms of filing, as my nails were not filed straight. The lengths were visibly uneven between fingers and hands, which I find really strange for a nail place to miss. The cuticle work was well done. I'm quite sure it was the technician I had though, since others didn't seem to have this issue. The pedi by the same technician was fine. I was just surprised and annoyed by the fact that my mani looked like it was done by a 7 year old. I could've done a better job to be honest. Unfortunately, I had to re-shape and take off the polish when I got home. Didn't want to waste more time at the salon, since the appointment went longer due to the fact that I had to point out these issues.
i think if it's convenient for you since you live in the area and you already have a technician you prefer here who has given you a great mani/pedi (I really don't think that they're all bad, since other reviews are quite good and that's one of the reasons why I decided to try it out), I think it's worth coming here. Not sure if it's really worth it for me to go back the second time.
