  • I'm only giving this Loblaws 3 stars because I can't get overly excited about any grocery store in general, but this location is a pretty good one. If you don't drive and you're unfortunate enough to live along the completely desolate Bathurst and St. Clair to Bathurst and Avenue corridor, this Loblaws is an oasis in a desert of otherwise starvation. This complex is basically a mini city of its own. One could actually survive and live out their whole life here if they were so inclined. There's an LCBO to satisfy a person's beverage needs. There's a Joe Fresh store where one can purchase all of their indoor and outerwear needs. There's a fake little "coffee shop". There is an extensive floral department, a drycleaner and there is a delightful little chocolate and gelato shop. The best part is the fact that this Loblaws is located directly above the subway station, so that one can get the hell out of this no man's land and head downtown. Also, despite being located in ritzy Forest Hill, the prices here are quite....kosher, if you know what I mean.
