They opened around 11:05. We were the first customers for the day and the moment we came in no one greeted us or even smiled as we came in. There were two ladies upfront and no one even bothered to ask whether we were ready or needed help. Even after we greeted them good morning, the lady at the cashier just stared at me and did not even respond with a smile. I would probably understand if it's the end of the day and they are already tired but... The same thing happened to the customer after us.....
Anyway for the food we ordered the loco moco and kuakua plate (?)
The loco moco gravy was bland and watery. It was lacking so much flavor which is essential to the loco moco experience. :( the patties were so much thicker than the traditional loco moco and kind of dry. :( I have travelled to hawaii and had hawaiian food all over southern california and sad to say I never had a bad experience with hawaiian food like this.
The macaroni salad was alright. I usually finish two cups of those but this time the most I could have was 2 spoonfuls of it. :(
I have not tried their whole menu because they might have some specialties that could taste great but sadly I am never coming back.... $30 for 2 people was too much for that quality :(
