I'm just glad that I can leave a review on a motel casino that closed many years ago. Crazy Bernie and his brother Greg stayed at westward ho back in 1981. I was 21 and greg 29. I clearly remember this awesome casino and the motel it was attached to. That's right, it was billed as the first and only motel casino. It was a working mans casino with a free champagne fountain flowing day and night. I remember standing at the fountain with my cup as the changed from Bloody Mary to screwdriver. How cool was that? That's where I first drank a Bloody Mary. Many bloody Mary's. It is sad that such an important part of my past is now a large empty dirt lot next to the old slots of fun. As I type this from my 2000 sq ft penthouse suite at the Riviera on my wrap around balcony I am saddened as I stare at the dirt lot that used to be the WH. Hey, if it was still around they probably would have tried to redo and rename with a new hip name like "The WH". Think about it yelpers.
