The movie theatre gets a solid 3 stars. It's modern, clean and they serve coffee and tea. The VIP lounge apparently...serves alcohol? Numbered seating? Servers taking your order? The rumours abound! I've never been to it. This review is for the regular movie theatre the regular schmucks like me patronize.
Now, this place is the favoured social outing for the oldsters and their parents and their parent's parents. It is packed with senior citizens. Some of them are cranky and dislike others who leave their oversize coats in seats. One lady was grumpily coaxing me to take a seat that clearly had been spoken for. She didn't care that the person had stepped outside. I did. I did not want to be yelled at because I am certain this granny gangster was not going to have my back!
To avoid sitting on the front row, arrive super early to your movie screening.
