  • Sit-Well Upholstery did some custom sewing for me. I provided the following: Two custom made window shades with bias tape to be sewed around the edges. The shades consist of thick material (approximately ¼" thick), iron cover bonded onto reflix (insulation). To prevent the edges from fraying I provided the bias, 1 ¾" wide cloth strips at a length of 13' (+10%) perimeter for each window shade. It took about two weeks for the work to be completed. This was fine for me. I did have to pay the full amount beforehand, which was strange but I accepted it. After leaving the drop off, and upon my memory, I called them regarding some cautionary situation they may encounter sewing on the shade I had provided for them. I was told not to worry the seamstress would be aware of it. After the two weeks, I picked up the items and all was very satisfactory. The sewing was very well done. For my particular situation, there were no problem with service, staffs, or any other issues. Thank you for your attention. JJ
