Best katsu in Vegas. It's located pretty much in the middle of nowhere.. But definitely worth the drive here. When I go with my boyfriend we always get gyoza which I recommend. It's not on the menu but usually written as a special on a board. The chicken katsu has a light crispy breaded outside and juicy inside to it! The chicken is quite lean compared to other places. The katsu comes served on top of a rack so it doesn't get soggy. It isn't oily either. This place reminds me of wako in LA. They're really careful with packing their takeout as well. The katsu curry is all packaged together in the same box with different compartments and after 20min of driving on the freeway, no spills and none of the rice or cutlet touched the curry. They wrap the entire box in plastic and place the cutlet on top of the rice and it doesn't fall... Yes, I'm quite impressed just by that. All in all, this is my go to spot besides curry zen. I prefer this place more though. Portion sizes are smaller than most other places but hey.. Quality over quantity!
