  • PV Mall is one of those, "because it was there" answers. "Were you hungry?" No. "Then why did you eat?" Because it was there. "Do you love that mall?" It's ai'ight. "Well why do you keep going there all the time?" Because it's there! I have to pass it everyday going to/from work, and it's the closest indoor mall to me that has all 3 major department stores: Dillard's, Macy's, JC Penney, even Sears (Do people even shop there anymore?). They have quite a few YA stores: Hot Topic, Papaya, Hollister, AE, PacSun, Tilly's, Zumiez, A&F, etc., so it's popular with the tween and high school crowds. If you're looking for business or business casual wear, there's Express or NY & Co. If you're looking for casual-to-sport shoes, there's Finish Line, Champs, Journey's, and a Vans store. (No Footlocker here.) Personally, I like the specialty shops. The Asian Gifts store has some really cool things for gifting, collecting, etc. Swords, shields (a huge Captain America shield was on their wall), art, etc. Another store, Enterprise Comics, sells, of course, comics, along other other pop culture collectibles. Malani World Market has everything from Indian garb to home decor, eye-brow threading and dance classes. There's a store selling Native American themed items. Another favorite, Bohemian Chic, has your inner-hippie/gypsy needs covered. I've never visited their food court; I don't even think I've been near it. I do, however, frequent the Auntie Anne's, which is near the JC Penney side of the mall. Aside from a gelato kiosk found in the middle of the mall (near Dillard's and Victoria's Secret), I don't know anything about the other food offerings. Need something to do with the kids? There's an indoor playground right outside the JCP/mall entrance. It's almost always packed, even during the weekday. If you're allergic to kids, stay clear. Monster Bubbles is here. This place allows you legally turn your child into a hamster for said amount of time. (Basically, you get inside the plastic bubble and run around, best you can...in a bubble.) In a separate area there's the contraption to which they strap you or your kid in a harness and shoot them into the sky/ceiling. Have fun with that. Lastly, they currently have these plush animals on wheels. Remember our old rocking horses back in the day? They're soft and mobile, and the ride them all over the bloody mall. I'm 1/2 annoyed, 1/2 jealous; I wanna ride too. Oh, there's a choo-choo train too. Watch out, or it'll run ya down. Cool mall for mall-type needs. Not great, but not bad. It's A-OK.
