  • A very expensive Canadian-based chain for gifts, including watches, rings, crystal, and all the acroutements of luxe life. All of the things sold here are optional. Some things are nice little accessories to life, though. A friend of mine has a gorgeous diamond wedding ring with a very distinctive design specific to Birks. The service here is surprisingly laid back. Every time I've been in, they don't use high pressure sales techniques and let you decide what to get on your own time. They will even offer lower price-point items, just in case $400 is more than you want to spend on a gift.
